  Hi. i have question regarding [display-posts]. I find the maximum post it shows is 100 only even when shortcode used is [display-posts posts_per_page='5000'].

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Not that I have 5000 posts, but 200+ posts, which should logically get displayed when using the shortcode [display-posts posts_per_page='5000']

  The limit you mention, 100 items, is intentional:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/display-posts-shortcode/

  Keep in mind that anything greater than this is going to make your site difficult to navigate. I recommend you make full use of tags and categories to organize your posts.
