I have several domains urls and need to host them with you

    Hi,
    We are a 501 c3 and have several domains we would like to host and design at wordpress.
    We would like to make our http://www.ChildrenNotForgotten.com the main site and the others (only splash pages) point or link to the main charity site. Can we insert our paypal next to promotions and accept payments or do the themes come with shopping carts?

    Can you consider better pricing for 5 urls we already own?

    I am really excited to finally get to the word press platform

    Hi there,

    I think the self-hosted version of WordPress might be better suited to your needs.

    On WordPress.com you can add multiple domains to the same site, then they will all link directly to the site without splash pages, but only the primary domain will be visible in people’s browsers. To do it this way you will need to buy a plan for your site which will include one free domain mapping, and then you can map additional domains to the site at $13 each.

    If you want to have the other domains show splash pages it means you’ll need to create 5 different free sites, and add a plan to each site to connect each site to a domain. On a self-hosted site, however, you should be able to achieve the same using plugins, or your hosting plan might even include multiple sites.

    You can add PayPal buttons on WordPress.com, but we only support the simple Buy Now or Donate buttons. If you want to use buttons with multiple options or drop-down menus, be aware those don’t work on WordPress.com. We don’t have any integrated shopping cart option on WordPress.com.

    For shopping carts, you’ll need a self-hosted installation instead where you can install a plugin like WooCommerce.
