I have several questions and I can't find a telephone number to call?!
-
Please bear with me as I was doing fine until my last Blog, and I ran into multiple issues?!
my site is pitzersart.wordpress.com1. How do I change my text to single line spacing – – every time I hit the return key?
I don’t want the big gaps in spacing between the lines and would rather hit return twice when I need to insert that gap.
I could not find anywhere that showed me how to do that.2. I had a terrible time with spacing/placing images in this last blog.
And what I see on the screen when I am writing the blog and what I get when it previewed for publishing are two different images?!
I tried changing images from “left” to “none”, etc., etc., etc and still ended up with text from the bottom of the blog up in the middle of the images, etc. It was a nightmare!!
AND THEN, when it published it was even different.
I received this email after publishing yesterday:
https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?tab=wm#label/rob%40pitzersart.com/141293c3ce45da36
look at all the errors toward the bottom, as compared to what you see if you go direct to:
pitzersart.wordpress.com?!
So how can I create a new blog that will look like what I am going to see when I hit “publish”? i.e.: in putting images in, the create screen would let me put 3 or so images across – – then when it came time to publish they would be scrambled, or cut to one or in some cases two images across?!
Really confusing.3.Notice at the end of the email I received – the “COMMENT” spot at the end was all in “code”?!
4. I notice a friend on BlogSpot can post to Pinterest. I cannot figure out how to do that with Word Press.
5. I keep getting the message to go up to “Premium”. When I first signed up I paid to have a premium account?! Do you show that I have a premium account? If not, I paid the money, how do you activate my premium capabilities? And exactly does that mean?
Thank you for trudging through this long dialogue. As you might guess I am a bit exasperated!
Hope you can address these things – – ONE AT A TIME!!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

1. How do I change my text to single line spacing – – every time I hit the return key?
When you hit the return key, it starts a new paragraph. The Widely theme double-spaces those paragraph breaks. However, you can get single-line spacing by hitting Shift + Return together. That will create what’s called a “soft” return instead of a new paragraph.
2. I had a terrible time with spacing/placing images in this last blog.
And what I see on the screen when I am writing the blog and what I get when it previewed for publishing are two different images?!Some theme have what’s called Editor Style, which means that what you see in the post editor is exactly what you’ll see when you publish the post. You can browse our Editor Style themes here:
http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/editor-style/
If you aren’t using an Editor Style theme, you’ll need to preview your post to see what it will look like once it’s published.
3.Notice at the end of the email I received – the “COMMENT” spot at the end was all in “code”?!
I can’t view the email at the link you provided — only you can see that email while logged into your email account. However, if you can provide a screenshot of the email I’d be happy to take a look. You can upload screenshots to your Media Library under Media > Add New in your dashboard, or you can use an online service such as Snaggy.
4. I notice a friend on BlogSpot can post to Pinterest. I cannot figure out how to do that with Word Press.
You can’t post directly to Pinterest from your WordPress.com blog, but you can add a Pinterest sharing button to your posts. That way, anyone can click on the Pinterest button to add your post to Pinterest. We have more information about those sharing settings here: Sharing
5. I keep getting the message to go up to “Premium”. When I first signed up I paid to have a premium account?! Do you show that I have a premium account? If not, I paid the money, how do you activate my premium capabilities? And exactly does that mean?
The WordPress.com Premium upgrade is per blog, rather than per account. You do have the Premium upgrade for your blog at pitzersart.com. You can view and manage that upgrade under Store > My Upgrades in your blog’s dashboard. You can also learn more about what’s included in Premium here: WordPress.com Premium
Please let me know if you have any questions about that!

2. How do I determine if I have an editor style (I am using “Wide”)
And if it is not Editor Style and I have to select another theme, I guess I will have to re-do all the things I have already done to the one I am using?5. You did great (!) until the last one! I have the upgrade paid for at $99, but when I went to WordPress.com Premium it sounded like what I have already done? So don’t understand “have the upgrade per blog” rather than the account”? So I have to pay $99 every time I do a blog to get those features?!
Appreciate you help.

Hi there –
How do I determine if I have an editor style (I am using “Wide”)
And if it is not Editor Style and I have to select another theme, I guess I will have to re-do all the things I have already done to the one I am using?Widely does not have the editor style Rachel mentioned, but you don’t have to change your theme. You can just preview your posts before publishing to check what they’ll look like:

Yes, you do have the premium upgrade already on http://pitzersart.wordpress.com/
Where are you seeing the message to upgrade?
I note that you’ve mapped a domain to your site, but it’s not yet pointed here to WordPress.com. Please contact your registrar, Network Solutions, for help on updating the name servers, as described here:
