I have signed up with WordPress and wish to change my email address user ID

  I attempted to change my email address under security. I was told to check an email sent to me and click on the link to confirm. There was no link to confirm. It just said someone was changing my email address and if it was me to ignore it otherwise if it was not me to respond immediately. That does not help me to get the ID email changed.

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  Have you check your new email address? Because according to this document

  When you update your email address, a confirmation email is sent to the new email address. The change will not be finalized until the email’s confirmation link is clicked. Please check promotions, social, and spam/junk email folders, as sometimes emails can land there.
