  I have ‘lost’ a big chunk of my writing. I don’t know what I did!

  Hey laurafitzgeraldtarot,

  I know exactly how you feel! I have done this numerous times on accident. If you are still in the post, you should still be able to access the undo arrow at the top of the blog page.

  When I write a long blog, I occasionally type it in Microsoft Word. This helps with grammar and synonyms. Afterwards, I just copy and pate it into my blog.

  Thank you for your suggestion automatsrollout.

  I think what happened was I somehow had two wordpress pages open at once and just closed the one I was working on instead of the one that had been dormant.

  Sheesh!

  Your advice in the second paragraph is the same as my husband’s. He has told me many times to do just that. What can I say? I forgot.

  Oh well …

  Hi there, hope you don’t mind me adding something to this discussion.

  Have you checked the Revisions to see if the other version was saved? If you open the post again to edit it, do you get a notice that the version in your browser is newer than the currently saved one? Give that a try and let us know how it goes.

  I tried your suggestion, but alas, no good.

  I’ve done a perfect stuff-up this time. The hilarious thing is it’s a blog about “everyday sadness”. And I thought I’d finished it. Obviously this ‘little’ error will have to be incorporated.

  But I appreciate your effort to help, nonetheless.
