I have static page…but my sidebar is screwed up.
-
What happens is that I want my Home Page to be first on the list, but because I had to change it around.
So:
1. Either I have two home page links at the top
OR
2. My sidebar is screwed upDoes anyone know how I can fix both problems?
-
Could we have a link to your blog? We cannot help much without being able to take a look.

Oh yeah for sure. I forgot about that.

If you look at the top I have two “Home” pages and my other one. Then I have on the side my sidebar.
If I fix the two home pages thing, the “posts” becomes the top link on the sidebar and I don’t want that. I want the Main page(home) to be first.
Is there a way to actually make that work?

You can link your username to your blog as outlined here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/how-to-make-your-name-link-to-your-blog?replies=54

Okay, so that solved half my problem.
Do you know how to make it so that the “Home page” is the top on in the sidebar even though it’s the “child page” of the “posts” one?
Thanks for the username linking information.

Since the home page is a child of “posts” I don’t know of any way to change it. One suggestion though is to create your own “pages” widget using a text widget. That way you can control the order of the pages.

Thank you. That seems to be helping. I’m going to have to “FAQ” that widget because it’s confusing me.

Another suggestion is to exclude that page from showing in the sidebar; it only leads to your static front page, and you also have the tab in the header, so the sidebar link is of no real use anyway.
