I have the blurb below on my home page under "Visit Me on Facebook"

  “Could not retrieve the specified page. Please verify correct href was passed in.”

  How do I get rid of this blurb? The Facebook link works perfectly and takes people to my FB page.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You did not enter the correct URL for a Facebook page (not a profile page) into the Facebook likebox widget. that’s why you have the error message.

  Also note that by default your front page displays all your posts and you have not published any posts. The 404 (page not found) error message on the front page of your blog appeared because you deleted the placeholder Hello World post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/not-found/ As soon as you publish a post, not a page it will disappear. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/

  I would guess it’s throwing that error because your blog is empty now, meaning it opens on an error page. Try making a post and see if that clears up.
