I have the same theme on 2 wordpress.com site set up the same but….

The blog url below and this one peterjonesselfhelpbooks.wordpress.com both use the same theme (Yoko) and are set up with the same side widgets however on the url above the blog posts when viewed in the blog roll look great whilst on the url below look horrid. On the url above all are set to ‘standard’ post type but even changing the posts to ‘standard’ on the url below does not make them look the same.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,
What widgets are you specifically talking about? I’ve visited both sites and the side widgets look the same. To better help you, could you please provide an example?

    Thanks for the reply
It is not the widgets that are causing the trouble
It is the layout of the blog posts when viewed on the blog page. On one they look fine (peterjonesselfhelpbooks) but on the other they look horrible and totally different.
In the back end both blogs are set up to use the same post type although they don’t look the same.

    Hi,
I’m sorry if I sound so dense with this, but I’ve opened these links:
    https://peterjonesselfhelpbooks.wordpress.com/posts/
    https://peterjonesauthor.wordpress.com/blog/

This is where your posts are in each site. I’ve take a careful look at them and found no obvious differences (except the content of course). They have the same layout and they both look quite similar. Is it possible that you’re viewing one of them from another browser or a mobile device?

Morning and thanks for having another look
This issue I had seems to occur when the lead image is anywhere but centered and on it’s own at the top of the post – where that isn’t the case the text seems to be all over the place.
I think the easy solution is just to centre the image on each post – so will do that. Thanks for your time though.

Yes, it’s probably related to the position your image. I hope everything works. If not let us know.
