I HAVE TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE
-
-
It has practically no pictures nor structure
At this point I’m not sure what it is you are seeing. I just spent about 10 minutes browsing nearly every page on your site that appears at https://lorigershon.wordpress.com/ but whose address is masked as http://capco.ca/
Almost 95% of the above site is text with images only appearing on https://lorigershon.wordpress.com/corporate-information/
https://lorigershon.wordpress.com/our-partner-img/
and a video on https://lorigershon.wordpress.com/about-img/I’ve attached a temporary screenshot. Please let us know if this is what you are seeing and, if not, what it should be. (I’ve reduced the browser zoom in order to get more of the site in the screenshot.)
-
That is exactly what I am seeing. What I should be seeing is a site filled with pictures, with a distinctive logo header and footer, and structured to move between topics. I don’t know if you can see it, but in My Site/Media/Library are all the pictures (40 in total) which should be displayed on my site.
-
Did you update the content and build the site structure yourself or did you appoint somebody to do that?
-
I can’t, but Staff can. I’ve tagged this for their assistance.
Please let us know if you are the only person with Admin role on the site. Staff can also see whether there has been activity on the back end by another user.
-
I am the only person with Admin role for this site.
Is there a way I can send you a picture of the front page header as it should look? -
-
https://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/ and upload it to your site’s Media Library.
You can leave it there for Staff or share it here in the forum by adding the link to the photo.
-
The link:
http://lorigershon.wordpress.com/the-capco-website-front-pageNote that this was captured by Constant Contact for a mailing.
-
That link doesn’t work. Try https://lorigershon.wordpress.com/the-capco-website-front-page. It is in Drafts
-
The screen shot is now in my Media library. This is the link: -shot.png”>https://lorigershon.files.wordpress.com/2016/02/capco-screen-shot.png
-
Please bear in mind that the screen shot is a mobile template for an email, which shows the first page header of the CAPCO website (as it was before the Great Destruction).
-
In the meantime we can wait for the staff to look into the matter, but I suspect that your site was hosted somewhere else, migrated to wordpress.com and get corrupted along the process
-
i don’t see how that is possible, but I have absolutely no knowledge of migration or masking or forwarding or mapping.

Hello lorigershon!
I checked your account and found that you had the Unlimited Premium Themes with the Premium plan upgrade and you were using the Premium Theme Gridiculous Pro. The upgrade expired last December, because of that your site’s theme was changed to a free theme, the Twenty Fifteen.
Now, you have to either buy the Unlimited Premium Themes upgrade again, or the Gridiculous Pro theme on the link above. To be able to customize the site the way it was.
-
In other words, I have just had to pay my second“one-time payment” in order to restore my site, and you chose to change to a free theme without notifying me. Further, this has come to light only because the problem was referred to you. Apparently, none of your Forum experts had a clue that this might have happened. They probably have a lot more faith in WordPress than appears to be warranted by this fiasco.
-
As I know, the Unlimited Premium Themes upgrade is never an one -time payment. It’s listed as $120.00 USD per year in the Store. It also comes with the WordPress.com Business with $299.00 USD per year.
-
I just paid for the Gridiculous theme. The statement given on the payment page was that this is a one-time payment. I must have paid for the Premium Themes last year, but, the result seems to be that my website was deconstructed without notice.
-
It couldn’t have been last year that I paid for Premium Themes: it had to have been in July of 2014. so why didn’t the website deconstruct in July, 2015? Perhaps it’s because of lack of sleep, but none of this makes any sense.

According to this page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/premium-themes/
When you purchase a premium theme, it is available for the lifetime of that blog. If you would like to use the same theme across multiple blogs, you’ll have to purchase the theme for each blog.
The gridiculous pro cost $69 for lifetime.
It seems that you’re not buying a single theme, but ‘unlimited themes’ upgrade which allow you to choose any premium themes wordpress.com offer, as replied by @carinapilar. However, it’s not one time payment and cost $120/year, as stated on this page:
