I have transferred my domain, now what?

I have transferred my domain to another host and would like to start building a new site there. How do i close this account and remove my blog so that the url does not pull up this wordpress.com blog but instead my new site. I have transferred and received the domains with my new host successfully.

Now that the domain has been transferred, you’ll need to update the nameservers to point to your new hosting provider. You can do this through your new domain registrar.
Then, you can delete your WordPress.com blog following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

As far as I can tell the name servers are now pointing to my new host. When i enter my URL the site now shows up with my new host (blue host). How ever when i try to delete my site here I get this message…
“Warning! You cannot delete a blog if the blog has a domain registration upgrade. You must have access to the blog in order to get to the domain manager.
If you do not want to use your blog any more please make it private. Other users won’t be able to visit the blog but you can still access the Dashboard so you can get to the domain manager.”

Ah, yes, I’ll need to remove the domain listing from your account first.
Before I do that, would you please make sure that the transfer has indeed completed?

I can remove the listing, but I’ll need to receive the request from the iherbdiscounts account that owns it.
