  @timethief: if you run into a modlooked thread without any comments, it’s possible one of us has done that to add the thread into our queue so that it doesn’t get overlooked. Because of our own work flow and the fact that commenting makes the thread appear newer, we may not comment until we’re able to reply to the user.

  @timethief feel free to jump in on any mysterious modlooks in the future, as there’s no guarantee it was us, and even if it was, I have no problem with volunteers jumping in.

  What perplexed me was the fact that the issues in the threads didn’t need Staff assistance to be resolved. I’m good at jumping in so I’ll take you up on that.
