I have two different sites?

  I am sort of confused and a newb at this. It seems I have two different wordpress sites running?

  1. When I go to wordpress/admin to log on I am directed to Designs188.wordpress.com and can not access the actual site I want.
  2. Designs188.com is the site I want to work on but can only access this from my hosting site.

  Are there two versions running? If so, how do I delete the Designs188.wordpress.com one?

  Hi @designs188!

  As far as I see, the website designs188.com is hosted with SiteGround and Designs188.wordpress.com is hosted with WordPress.com so, yes you have 2 different websites.

  If you want to work on Designs188.com you must access your WordPress dashboard at http://designs188.com/wp-admin – however working on this, will not affect Designs188.wordpress.com – if you want to change something on Designs188.wordpress.com, you must connect to your WordPress.com account.

  Thank you so much for explaining my newb mistake. I was freaking out because I didn’t realize I was signed up for WordPress.com and WordPress.org and they are two separate sites. All fixed, just deleted my Designs188.wordpress site. Thank you so much, gave me a little piece of mind. Have a good rest of the day.
