I have two pages coming up for one blog.

The old post I have now re-edited comes up on my homepage when you search google under auriaacutonics.com, and has no ‘Edit Page’ function at the top of the page in the toolbar. The new one comes up only from dashboard from the editing page ‘view or preview’ and does have the ‘Edit Page’ function in the upper toolbar. In my dashboard there is only one blog post showing, but two versions apparently exist somehow. I have deleted the page and then cut and pasted the new version in an new post, but when you go from google still the old one comes up. What can I do? Will deleting and starting the post from scratch maybe help or something else?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

Search results appearing on Google will take 4 to 6 weeks to update. So your old posts will not be immediately removed from Google search results. To request the removal of outdated content, check out Google’s guide here.

And since your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, for future self-hosted WordPress issue, please post your question at the WordPress.org support forum: https://wordpress.org/support/
