I love it and I notice that it not only matches your blog but will probably suit the theme “thirteen” and maybe a “fleur de lis” too. It can be easily made into a button. -

I’m working on a project to produce (among other things) a music maker that will run on the iPod (as firmware) which will allow people who have no undertsanding of music theory, and who have never played any instrument to create fun enjoyable music and share it etc.
We’re currently constructing a theory/model for how that would work as well as a well-investigated model for spreading it around like a virus.
I’m working on 2.5 projects plus a major commitment, and this sort of fun activity we’re having here really helps center the mood.
Keep those logos coming people … this can be a perpetual, creative, fun thread for everyone to enjoy, as long as we stick to the subject … more or less! :)

marc I find your music maker project to be facinating. I can sing (mezzo-soprano) but the only use I have for a keyboard is to pick out the notes that I myself sing. I know nothing about cords, etc. The fact that your invention will run on an ipod is both exciting and daunting from my perspective. You see I don’t own an ipod, or a cell phone, or a dvd player, or a … I think you get the picture. I live a very humble and spare cabin in the woods type of lifetyle, on a very beautiful tiny island off the coast of Vancouver Island. hmmm I guess I’d better start saving up for an ipod so I can enter the wordpress theme music contest, eh?
Thanks to you and to everyone else for all your good will. This thread is not only a wonderful break from serving customers (we make and sell pottery), but without creativity and “community” what have we WordPress bloggers got going in the maw of cyberspace? IMO it’s “community” built firmly on the open source foundation that sets WordPress apart from other bloghosts. And of course “open source” is all about the freedom to create and to share. -

Well there’s a forest fire on our sister island. Water bombers and helipcopters and eveyone fighting it on the ground so this will be a quick check-in. Good on fillip and mellissy for entering the fray.
@baxter – I love the updated version and am I find myself in agreement with evolvingtrends. This would make both a handsome tatoo design and a great t-shirt design too. (This is not to mention that the colours are far more to my liking than reds, blacks and blues.)@ evolving trends

I think we can use this thread as a Logo/T-Shirt design thread :)
This opens up lots of opportunities … A logo is an idea. A t-shirt is a medium unto itself! although I think many entries posted in this so-called “logo” thread were really meant to be t-shirt entries.
For example, who wouldn’t want the fartinng gnome on a t-shirt???

just played around with the existing logo. I really think that since the logo symbol includes letter “W”, theres no need to have it double. Anyways, suggested new version of WP logo:

So far only Timethief has said it’s okay to use her images on a page at the faq. If you are:
– happy to have your image there
– are okay with the CC licence that all faq material is under
– and don’t mind a link to your blog
send me a feedback with your image url – so I get the right one – and I’ll get it sorted. If they can fit that theme (max width 450px) that would be very useful too. -
