I imported from my old Movable Type blog, ten years worth of posts, but the imports stalled out with the 2009 posts. How can I get the rest? The screen still says “processing,” and has since last night.

They go back to 2001 but the most recent one that imported was from 2009. There’s three years in there that didn’t go over.

Would you like us to empty out your site so you can try again? This will remove all pages, posts, images, and other content, and is not reversible. If you still have issues following that we can investigate further. Please let me know if you’d like me to go ahead.

I’d rather not empty everything out, since I’ve added new posts. When I go to Tools -> Import, it still says “processing.” Is there a way you can stop that so I can try importing again?

Hi Steven,
I’ve stopped the in-progess import – it had got stuck and stooped importing anyway.
You can now run another import to import the rest of your content.
