I inactivated my account yesterday, but one comment I made still shows

Please read this support doc: Can I edit comments I left on someone else’s blog? http://en.support.wordpress.com/comments/#can-i-edit-comments-i-left-on-someone-else%E2%80%99s-blog
Also note changing your username will not change it on the comment because the change is not retroactive. And, your account has not been deactivated.
Here’s how to deactivate your account:
Although username accounts are not deleted, so you cannot be impersonated and have your reputation affected by anyone registering the same username in the future, there are steps you can take that amount to removing all personal information and result in leaving only a throwaway email address behind. http://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/1. You can go to My Account->Edit Profile and remove all data except the account name and an email address. Create a throwaway email address and change the account email to that throwaway address. This only leaves the username behind.
2. To unsubscribe from email sent to you from WordPress.com, go here and click on “Block all subscription emails from WordPress.com”:
https://wordpress.com/settings/notifications/3. To ensure the account is locked up tightly, visit this site, generate a password of 15-20 characters, and change the account password to it:
http://www.thebitmill.com/tools/password.html4. To hide your Gravatar profile, login and on the bottom right hand corner of your Gravatar profile page you will find a “hide” button visible only to you that you can click.

Too bad it is not possible to delete comments from other people´s blogs, but thanks for helping me find out.

I agree but I’ve had over 8 years of experience answering support questions and there are a minority of immature people who do attack us Volunteers when they do not like the answers we provide.

Hi again,
You were so helpful last time, I’m hoping you can help me again. Can bloggers see who actually reads their bloggs (i.e username?)
Thanks :-)

I’m sorry but the answer is no.
wordpress.com followers (includes Publicize) are here https://wordpress.com/my-stats/?blog_subscribers&type=wpcom
email only followers are here https://wordpress.com/my-stats/?blog_subscribers&type=email
Also note that our subscribers set the preference for delivery of our posts by email themselves (instantly, daily, weekly, never) here https://wordpress.com/settings/notifications/
Our stats are not real time stats and take time to update. There are frequent fluctuations that most do not notice because we aren’t watching the process. For details see here http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/ and note the views and viewers take hours to update.
Our stats are page view stats. But please do not assume that everyone who clicks a follow, like, share, reblog or comment link actually reads the post on your blog because odds are they may not.
Follow, like, share, reblog or comment clicks are not page views. In fact, follows, likes, shares, comments and reblogs are completely misleading when you are talking about page view stats.
Your followers and anyone with a WordPress.com/Gravatar account who is logged into WordPress.com can “follow” your blog, “like”, “share” and “reblog” your posts and “comment” in several locations such as the Reader, without ever clicking into your blog and creating a single page view stat. Subscribers control how frequently they receive your posts (instantly, daily, weekly) and can comment without clicking into the blog.
Logged in visitors using a mobile can read the full post without creating a page view stat. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/wordpresscom-reader-show-full-text?replies=31#post-1373606
You can control the length of the entry sent out on your RSS feed here Dashboard > Settings > Reading. Choose the “summary” setting for your RSS feed rather than to “full text”. That will compel followers who are not using mobiles to click into the blog to read the full post which will create a page view stat.

Hi hi,
How can I make an “anonymous” comment. I see some people do, but every time I try, it asks me to log in with my username. Any solution to this inconvenience? :-) If others can do it, there must certainly be a way for me to do it too. I believe.
Thanks in advance :-) -
Every blogger chooses whether or not to set their comments up to accept anonymous comments. I will never ever accept anonymous comments on my blogs.
The vast and overwhelming majority of all so-called information on the internet is spam. Over 80% of all so-called comments submitted to .wordpress.com blogs every day are spam. Spam comes in waves. There are human beings who get paid to post spam. There are robotic programs that post spam. That is why setting up anonymous commenting is never recommended.

Thank you as always :-)
Seriously, you are the most efficient volunteer I´ve crossed in my life.
Be well -
