I inadvertently deleted my "index" page.

  I think I deleted some index page. When I go to my site, the first page tells me:

  Not Found
  Apologies, but no results were found for the requested archive. Perhaps searching will help find a related post.

  It doesn’t have an edit option. any suggestions?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Not to worry,. You probably deleted the “Hello Word” placeholder post. As soon as you publish post of your own creation the “404” (page not found) error message will disappear. http://en.support.wordpress.com/not-found/

  Is it a new blog and did you delete the “Hello Word” first Post that comes with a new blog?

  If so, then don’t worry, just write a new Post and all should be well. If there is no content then you can get a Not Found message when WordPress tries to display something but has nothing to display.
