I intentionally let a domain expire, now I can't access my uploaded files.

    I wanted to return to wordpress.com domain. Now, every time I go to download a file on my site, I am told that the domain has expired. I am not using anywhere near my max storage. Is there a workaround for this?

    Hi there,

    The domain chsgerman.com has expired and is no longer on your account but your WordPress.com site still exists at https://johngrim.wordpress.com/ If you can’t access the WordPress.com URL, please try clearing your browser cache.

    It might also be possible to still recover your domain, but at this point in the expiration process our registrar charges a $80 recovery fee besides the regular renewal fee. Let me know if you want to try that. If the recovery is unsuccessful that fee is refunded in full.
