I just lost a post

I just lost a post because I had forgotten, that I logged out in order to comment on an other WordPress-blog in my debate-alias.
I went back to my own blog and wrote a post. I use tabbed browsing and I did not remember to log in again. So the post disappeared, when I saved it.
I have almost stopped commenting om other WordPress blogs for this reason and I only comment on other blog-systems such as Bloggers. It is a shame, that one cannot choose. I would prefer to logged in only on my own blog.
But: can I have it back? It is saved somewhere om WordPress’s backup and I need it?

I have been working on the blog since I made the mistake, so that is no longer the last thing I did. I also had to restart my pc…

What about using an offline editor to write and upload posts. I use BlogDesk on windows and I like it.
My needs were slightly different than yours, but it’s worked out well for me. I’ve even got it set up so it uploads to blog A with user name A, blog B with user name B and blog C with user name C.
I don’t even need to have Firefox open to do this.
