I just set up a separate Twitter account for my musicsprings blog. How do I handle that in sharing, to make sure musicsprings items go to the musicsprings Twitter page and sciencesprings items stay at the sciencesprings Twitter page?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey richardmitnick,
Please go to Sharing>>Sharing Button and scroll down. You can see a box to Twitter Username.
That’s where you have to add your Twitter handle. Save the settings and you’re good to go.

O.K., thanks. I tried it. musicsprings showed right up. I went to the other blog, sciencesprings and there “sciencesprings” showed up. Now, we will see if it works. Thanks for the help.

Well, it did not work. I just did a post in musicsprings. It showed up almost immediately on the sciencesprings twitter page and not on the musicsprings twitter page. I did exactly what you said and even checked the sharing pages for both blogs. The musicsprings sharing page showed “musicsprings”, the sciencesprings page showed “sciencesprings”
Any more ideas? I really need this to work.
This musicsprings blog has been a bear to get right, the theme was a problem you guys helped me to solve beautifully. I worked and re-worked and re-worked my .html templates, I got the musicsprings Faceboo Fan page to work. This is the last thing I need to do.

Is there some way you can escalate this thing for me, maybe you guys can go into my two profiles and make sure sciencesprings posts go to twitter.com/sciencesprings and musicsprings posts go to twitter.com/musicsprings?
Or, maybe I just give up on your sharing all together. I do Facebook, Facebook Fan pages, and Google+ manually so I can control the images used. Maybe I will just give up on sharing to Twitter and do it myself.

Hey richardmitnick,
That’s the only way to add your Twitter handle. If you still need help, I am tagging this as “modlook”.
Please wait for a while. A staff member will surely contact you.

Hi there,
Adding your Twitter handle only controls which Twitter account is @mentioned when someone shares a link to your posts. It does not automatically share your posts to that Twitter account.
To do that you need to set up a Publicize connection for the new account. Click on My Sites ->Switch Site and select the site you want to share to Twitter. Then click on Sharing, and next to Twitter click the Down arrow and click Connect to a different account. You can also disconnect the current account from there if you prefer, but it is possible to auto-share to more than one Twitter account.
For more information on Publicize you can see here:

This has become a Twitter problem, no longer a wordpress problem. I did disconnect Twitter in Sharing and will do them manually like I do for Facebook, a Facebook Fan page and Google+.
Thanks.
