I just spent an hour writing and publishing a post, and now it is gone.

What is happening to my posts? I just spent and hour composing text, inserting photos and clicking on publishing. All goes well, then, presto, the whole post disappears with only an early draft of the post existing. This has happened for over a week and I am very frustrated. I did not encounter this problem until a week ago; the first month or so all went well. Now, I can’t stand posting because all my work disappears.
HELP!

Hi there!
Do you have an example post or draft that this happened for you? I’d be happy to look into this for you once I have that information.
Let me know if you have any questions!

Yes, the lst draft which has a picture of a Japanese woman kneeling at a tea house is the latest example of the problem I have been encountering for the last two weeks with my posts. I am very frustrated.

I looked back in your post revisions in your draft and it seems like there was an autosave that overwrote your work with an old version of your post. Sometimes this happens when you have a post editor open in multiple tabs or windows of if you hit the “back” button to go back to a post revision. If you go to this page:
https://laurettadimmick.wordpress.com/wp-admin/revision.php?revision=1358&action=editYou can see that the content is different. You can click “restore this revision” to recover all your work.
Here’s more information about Post Revisions and how to recover the proper revision:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-revisions/You should be able to recover your other lost content the same way. Let me know if you have any questions.
