  It’s true. In Google we Trust. I’d like to know how to propel my WordPress blog to the top of a Google search.

  Hi, Sites hosted on WordPress.com has very strong SEO, so you really don’t have to worry much about anything but creating great original content and posting regularly. Categorizing and tagging your posts helps, but keep the total tags plus categories to 15 or less for that to be most effective. The search engines sometimes get suspicious if a post has lots of tags on them.

  Now for maximum # of tags (15)…. is that per post, or for the entire blog?

  29 posts later…..I tried to upload an mp3 file and it was disallowed. It says that it takes audio files, but none of the acceptable file types are audio.

  Is there a way to convert mp3 to a file type that will work?

  @billietoy, I’m not seeing any upgrades under your username and seeing the site created by a different username. Is that other username yours? The other username has the Premium upgrade, and that allows you to upload audio files. See our Support Page on Filetypes for more information on what audio files you can upload. Are you trying to upload one of those types?

  Thanks. I saw the audio tab…didn’t realize it was reserved for premium. I found another way to do what I wanted, so no problem.

  However, next question: I used to see a facebook icon with number of Likes at bottom of 1st column of widgets. Now I just see the words Pear’s Party with a link to my facebook page. What did I do?

  Hi, it is showing the number of likes right under the name on the image in the Like Box. Recently FB changed their widget and we have updated to the new one, so it is showing up in a different place now.
