The theme’s i see and like don’t have phots: elegant grunge. And how do I change the name of blog? Is there a book (paper) that explains this for techno klutzes?

You can add photos to any themes, so if you like Elegant Grunge’s layout, you should go for it!
I think this guide to setting your WordPress.com site will be a huge help:
It will teach you how to add images, post, pages, configure a menu, etc.
