I just want to Renew Domain

  I want to renew my domain nepalreports.com only (its expired already) and not the WordPress.com Premium plan. When I click on “renew now”, it automatically requests a 129 AUD or 399 AUD payment, but I only want to purchase the domain (name and mapping) which is less expensive. How can I do that ?

  Hi there. I hope this answer helps.

  An expired domain falls into a grace period for about 10 days to two weeks. During this short window, the domain can be renewed at the regular price. If you experience difficulty renewing your domain during this time, go to the My Upgrades page. There will be a link to contact Support for further assistance.

  After the grace period ends, your domain enters the redemption period, the length of which can vary. This means the domain name can still be renewed, but our registrar imposes an additional $80.00 redemption fee. (This is standard practice for domain registrars.)

  There is no domain mapping upgrade for nepalreports.com here at wordpress.COM where we provide support only for sites hosted by wordpress.COM.

  I’m having the same issue and the above instructions don’t work for me. When going to the “My Upgrades” page, there is no link to contact Support, just a link that says “You don’t have any upgrades yet. Try one of our plans.”, which takes me right back to where I started, the page that shows that I’m subscribed to the Premium plan.

  Clicking “Manage Plan” sends me on the same endless loop. Any help would be appreciated.

  Hi nreports, I’m sorry we can’t help with nepalreports.com . It expired quite a while ago, and someone else has purchased it since then. They are using it for something else.

  You would be welcome to register a new domain at the regular price, though. Just be sure to keep it properly renewed so it won’t be lost.
