I just want to renew my domain name; I don't want to map anything, and I don't care about

  I described the problem above. I want to renew my domain name of marriottcole.com but I don’t think I need mapping or privacy. So I just want the $5 domain name renewal, right? And it will work when someone types in http://www.marriottcole.com, right? Is there something I’m missing? Please reply asap so that I can renew before it expires tomorrow.

  Hi Marriott,

  Please note that a full domain registration is $18/year if you don’t want private registration. With private registration it is $26/year.

  The domain mapping is separated out for users who have their domain registered elsewhere and just need to map it to a WordPress.com site.

  Thanks for your reply. However, when I go to renew, it doesn’t allow me the option of choosing $18 and deleting the private registration. How do I do that please? Thanks.

  I have removed the private registration. You can now renew it for $18/year.
