I just want to reset the website and unpublished it for awhile
-
Why so complicated?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
I’ve done something similar before, maybe the same thing will work for you too.
- For unpublishing the site:
- Go to your Dashboard
- Click on Settings on the bottom of the side menu
- Scroll down to the Privacy category select the “Private” option.
^This will make it so only you can see your site. You still have access to it, but no one else does.
- For resetting your website:
- Go to your Dashboard
- Click on Settings on the bottom of the side menu
- Under “Site Tools” category, click “delete” and follow the steps
It looks like you may have already deleted the content. I thought I would mention it just in case the above could help.
Let me know if this isn’t what you were looking for, there might be some better options for you.

Hi yasturk23,
lovefactory.ca was created using WordPress.org software and is hosted by SiteGround, rather than WordPress.com:
We can only help with WordPress.com sites here but support for self hosted sites is available on the WordPress.org support forums:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
Someone there should be able to give you advice.
@miraswriting — this site isn’t hosted by WordPress.com and you can check this with a WHOIS search :) -
Aha! Yes, the funny thing about assumptions is not knowing the ones being made. :)
Thanks for catching that!

Thank you so much to both of you for your help. I am still learning all of this.
Have a nice day! -
