I just wrote a blog and now its gone

I just wrote a blog, and tried to upload a picture, and now the whole thing is gone. I have check in my drafts, and it is not there!

I’m sorry for the trouble! Before you do anything else, please go to https://wordpress.com/post with the same browser and see if it offers to restore a post. If a restore button appears, that means a local copy was saved in your browser and you can recover it there.
Also, did you use the “Save” button while you were writing the blog post? If you did, and if you tell me a bit more about the content of the blog post you were writing, I can take another look to see if I can find that draft post.

No I did not use the save button. The content was rather long and much like a poem. I’m thinking I named it ” you’ll be fine, because you’re mine.”
I had already loaded a picture of my son and I.

If you visit the link https://wordpress.com/post do you see the option to restore the post there?
If the restore option isn’t there, it’s possible a local copy of your post was never saved for some reason. I’m so sorry if that happened!
To prevent problems like that from happening in the future, make sure to click the “Save Draft” button often. That will save a draft that you can come back to in your list of drafts here:
