I keep finding I'm not logged in!

Add topic to favorites
What on earth have I done to cause this to happen?
I go to comment on someone else’s blog, and find I have to sign in as a WordPress person.
Then when I return to my own blog, lo and behold! – I’m bloody not logged in AGAIN.
This has been going on all day. I grow restive, to put it mildly.
Any clues, please?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I had to bloody LOG IN AGAIN to reply to you. This is getting really, really boring.
It says clearly what my blog is. I don’t understand what’s going on.
I use Chrome. Occasionally Firefox, if I need to adjust CSS; but nearly always Chrome.
I’ve never had this problem until today!!!

Do you have the same problem with Firefox? Is your browser set to accept cookies?

Yup. Exactly the same. And both are set to accept ’em.
However! – when in doubt, something I always try is … rebooting my modem.
Which I have now done, and have not had the problem in the short time since doing so.
Does that make any sense at all?

I lied. The problem hasn’t gone.
My black WordPress bar is showing, once again, nothing except my weeny gravatar and an initial. This is what was happening before.

And again I ask are both your browsers set to allow cookies? NOTE: I am not asking if, some time in the past, they were. I am telling you to check both of them now. Sometimes, particularly with upgrades, that changes.

FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! – it’s logging in HERE that’s starting it all off again!
I had to log in to get back to my own blog, and everything was fine: then when I worked my way back here, I was suddenly logged out again!!!

Chrome shows wordpress.com as having 29 cookies and local storage, whatever the devil that means.

Yep, that’s a fact: every time I track my way to the form, my wordpress bar on the top suddenly loses everything except my gravatar.
WILL A STAFF MEMBER PLEASE TELL ME HOW THIS CAN BE FIXED????

Oh, come on, team! – this isn’t an amusing thing that’s going on.
This-morning I get up, check my Inbox, attempt to comment on a new post and sure enough, I have to log in again.
The short cut to my own site on my Chrome menu bar shows me I’m not logged ig.
WILL SOMEONE PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS FOR ME?
What do I have to do to get someone to help me?
