I keep getting fatal errors after PHP update
-
I recently did a PHP update for client’s site and then I kept getting ‘fatal errors’ every few seconds. So I updated all the plugins that were compatible w/my version of WordPress, but that didn’t help. Every time I want to make an edit in the site, I have to do it 3, 4 times until it finally saves. At one point the theme of the entire site disappeared. Can someone please help with this??

Sorry to hear that! Since the site isn’t hosted with us (as we take care of PHP versions for our customers) we most likely can’t help much.
You might want to ask your host to help you restore a good backup. Or, the error logs might have more details, so you can search for the specific errors you’re getting.
Going forward, you’ll also want to use the correct forums for self-managed installations:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/Or, once the site is stable enough to do so, you’d be welcome to migrate your site to our services so we can take care of maintenance for you. You can find our pricing here:
