I keep getting logged out of site when trying to deactivate a plugin, etc.

    Good evening team.
Please help me, I am desperate.
Every time I try and deactivate a plugin I am logged out of the WordPress Admin site, and have to log in again, this has happened over 20 times.
Not only am I being logged out, while I have deactivated the WP Maintenance Mode to work on my login / logout / register part of my website, if someone else accesses the website it shows the admin userid and password, and they can log into the wp-admin site.
While I do have certain computer literacy skills, I am not very technically minded, and have no idea what I have added as a plugin to cause this error, nor have I enabled a password to protect my directory.
I cannot find my File Manager and have no idea about codes.
Any help is very much appreciated.
    Best Regards
    Dawn

You are posting to the wrong support forum. WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.

    Resetting your WordPress.ORG password http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page
