Are you still having this issue, and is it with your clapso account or another one (since you were able to log in to post here under clapso)?
If it is still occurring, are you trying to log in at the WordPress.com home page or at https://clapso.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ ? Does this happen from a single location or are you unable to login from different computers and different locations?

I was having the same issue. Try adjusting your computer clock – I know; it sounds ludicrous but it worked for me.
Go to your clock – usually at the lower right corner of the task bar. Right click. Select, ” Adjust date/time. Once there, select the Internet Time. Select the synchronize the clock with the internet option. Follow the screen instructions. That should do it. Good luck.

Thanks jmm2013. Although it was already set to sync with the internets, I unset it and then set it again and that seems to have worked…

Thanks Jackie — worked for me. I’m on eastern time (USA / Detroit), but for some reason, when I reboot, it occasionally puts me on western time, as if I’m in California or something — sets it 3 hours back.
This time, my Win 8.1 laptop changed the AM to PM, and fixing that solved my login issues with all https sites.
Thanks for sharing!
