i keep having problems signing in

    Hi I keep having problems signing into my wordpress.com account, I keep having to change passwords and then being told the new password/sign in is not correct. Help its driving me crazy. Can sign in on my laptop as it remembers me but cannot sign in on other devices at all without changing my password :-(

    Hi there,

    Would this issue be taking place using the WordPress.com apps, or are you trying to log in online through the browser?

    I also noticed a couple of things…

    First, the WordPress.com site that is linked to this account has been deleted:
    http://victoriamartinnaturopathicsdotorg.wordpress.com/

    This is not a huge problem, since you don’t have to have an active site in order to retain a WordPress.com account. But could be a possible source of problems.

    Second, http://victoriamartinnaturopathics.com/ appears to be a self-hosted site running the WordPress.org version of WordPress on a Bluehost account. The site setup has not yet been fully completed.

    Have you had the opportunity to speak to a Bluehost Support Rep yet? I would give that a try first.

    And if you need a bit more direction thereafter, then the WordPress.org support forums would be the place to get some great help.

    HI thanks so much for your reply! Yes i deleted the dotorg site as i wanted a .com site, i am using the wordpress.com through blue host and i have not yet fully completed the set up (it is still in construction). When i am log gin into wordpress.com it seems to want the last password that i have had and deleted not the current one. I haven’t spoken to blue host as it seems to be a wordpress problem?

    No problem :)

    I can see where things might get a little confusing, especially when you are allowed to log into your self-hosted site (running the WordPress.org version) using your WordPress.com account credentials.

    But they are still different and separate.

    Since you are able to log into your WordPress.com account to post here in the forum, I’ll assume then that the issue you are having is logging into http://victoriamartinnaturopathics.com/ using your WordPress.com user/password.

    It is possible that the Jetpack plugin is being used to connect your WordPress.com account to your self-hosted site.

    But again, you would need to start with Mojo Marketplace/Bluehost Support to get squared away.

    thank you so much for taking the time to help me with this, I would never ever have worked this out and it would have presented more and more problems no doubt. I am emailing blue host support now to get this sorted, thanks again!!
