I Launch on January 19, NEED HELP!!

    Hello all,

    I am launching my music video website on the 19th, and REALLY REALLY need help.

    This is my website so far: http://www.Visuallyaudible.com

    1. I want to place an “about us” link below the “Wiping away the white noise” Phrase on the header, but have no clue how to put the clickable link there.

    2. once i am able to put a clickable link where I need it to be, i want the page to have a short paragraph of my company’s mission statement, and i have a couple photos and a couple pictures for staff and bios. How do I go about doing this(uploading the headshots, formatting the page)?

    EXAMPLE:

    (Mission statement paragraph on top)

    pic | bio

    Lastly, 3. I want to simply change my favicon to my logo, which i already made an .ico file for. What code do I put in the stylesheet to do this, and how do i upload the .ico file onto my website?

    Any other suggestions for my website I would gladly take!

    PLEASE HELP ME! I’VE BEEN WORKING EVERY DAY AND NIGHT to get this website how i want it to be! I appreciate all help so much! Thanks in advance!

    Create the page, publish it and it should show up along with “What is VA” which is in the “menu.” If you have created a custom menu, then add the about page to that custom menu. You can then add the following to your CSS and it will center both of the menu items under the header.

    .menu {
text-align: center !important;
}
.menu ul {
display: inline-block !important;
width: auto !important;
}

    3. You have to upload a JPG, PNG or GIF (PNG works best) at settings > general (blog picture). http://en.support.wordpress.com/avatars/blavatars/

    2. You create the about page, put in the text you want and then upload and insert the images you want as explained here:

    It is the same as writing a post really.

    thank you so much sacred path, you really are a savior! i just did the alignment and it centered perfectly, is there any way i can customize the link?

    once i make the “about us” page, is there a way to remove the gray module?

    and I just changed the blavatar, but on the web address bar the favicon is still the wordpress logo, any way i can change that to the VA logo?

    Create a custom menu and then you can edit the label as you see fit.

    I assume that you are talking about on the “What is VA” page.

    If the blog avatar (blavatar) is showing at settings > general, then it might just take a little while for it to show up. Make sure and clear your browser cache before taking a look and refresh the page. Most browsers will hang onto existing favicons forever if they can.
