I let a domain expire, and now my WP.com website is inaccessible…why?!

    I used the domain marketing-by-web-design.com for a year, and figured the “wordpress.com” was easier than the hyphens, so I let it expire. Now, when I try to go to the marketingbywebdesign.wordpress.com, I get a nasty error page…
