I let my business plan lapse because I wished to downgrade and my site disappeared
-
Hi There.
I had been using WordPress Premium for several years and then upgraded to WordPress Business plan in June 2020. I let this business plan lapse in June 2021 because I wished to revert to premium.
Instead of reverting as I had suspected, I now have no plan at all, and thus my website does not appear at my domain name. Please let me know how I can remedy this. I want to enroll in Premium and restore my site which belongs at the domain: policygroupontradeswomen.org
Thank you,
Kate

Hello Kate,
Instead of reverting as I had suspected, I now have no plan at all
That is correct, yes. When you upgraded to Business, the Premium Plan was removed from your site, and replaced with a full year of the Business Plan. So your original premium plan no longer exists for your site to go back to.
If you want to now upgrade to the Premium Plan, we’ll need to first properly downgrade your site from the Business Plan – when you installed plugins on your site, our system made certain changes behind the scenes for the new features to work. Those changes need to be reversed in order for you to use the site on another plan.
There is a risk that any content you added to the site since you first installed plugin, i.e. since June last year, can be lost during this downgrade process. I’ll need you to confirm you understand this before I can start this process.
Once the site has been downgraded back to the free plan, you’ll be able to buy a new Premium Plan.
