I locked myself out of an old wordpress account like a dummy, please help
-
Ok, so I I set this website up with an ancient old gmail address back when I first started up this little business, and I gapped out and didn’t switch my log-in info over to my new email address when I changed emails years ago. The old gmail account has since been deleted because of inactivity, or I might have even deleted it myself, I can’t remember.
I’ve left this website inactive for a very long time as free advertising but it badly needs to be updated and I would like to log in again and update the website. Is there anything I can do? I have not set up two-step verification and I have no purchase histories or anything like that associated with the account. I just used an old wordpress account that I had set up years ago to do blogging and commenting in a long-forgotten part of my life.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello there,
Many thanks for reaching out.
Ultimately, you would need to try and recover the email address associated with the WordPress.com account or try and locate/remember the login details.
Please see this guide on how to recover a WordPress.com account. https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/
Please also see this guidance for when an account be recovered: https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/#if-ownership-cannot-be-established
I hope this helps.
