  I lost 1600 followers to my blog overnight, and the number on the subscribe button has not increased even though I have new followers

  Hi there!

  There was a recent change removing social media followers from the public-facing subscriber count to more accurately show the actual subscriber count of your website (which is your email subscribers and WordPress.com followers).

  You can verify this by checking out your Followers on your stats Insights page:

  https://wordpress.com/stats/insights/katherineschronicle.wordpress.com
