I lost a post and I cannot locate it. What can I do?

How do you recover a post? I clicked the new post tab on the home page of WordPress. Then I began typing away and I finished a post. I checked the site and it was nowhere to be found. It was titled An Analysis of Lou Grant (Season 1, Episode 1). I meant for it to go on my “It is, What it is” blog but it ended up on the openingfaceoff. It doesn’t matter, cause it is still not on the openingfaceoff.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Is it on the Dashboard Posts page? If so, try editing it and updating and see if that forces it to post.

Nope its not there. You know where it says new post on the home page? I clicked that, but didnt realize which blog I posted it to. However the blog that I supposedly posted it to, does not have the post in published or drafts. But the weird thing is that it gave me the confirmation that it was posted. You know how it gives you a nice quotation by Shakespeare or someone like that. I really needed that post too
