I LOST all my 5.5 years blog by migration

I just did migration this morning, and after I log on workpress again, I found all my blog that I wrote in the past 5.5 years are GONE!

Anyone can help me here? I am desparate…the blog is about my girls, from the time they were born I have been writing, now they are all LOST???????

Hey Huyun, I am having the same problem, I have been writing blogs on space for 6 years!!! I just followed the migration process and then lost everything I wrote!!!

When you say it takes some time, have your blogs all been recovered???

It looks like it took @huyun’s migration took in the range of up to 1 hour.

I dont think I waited till the progress bar was full when I checked the new blog page.

Can anyone tell me if how long I have to wait till all my old blogs have been transferred?

@jingsui It varies by size of blog and load on our import servers (which are cranking away right now!). You should get an email when it’s done.

If you haven’t received anything 24 hours after initiating the process, drop us a line over in support:

Hewsut, thank you for your reply.

But I have got the email from wordpress almost an hour ago, telling me the new blog has been set up. It didnt mention the transfer though.

Please dont let me lose all the blogs I wrote for the past 6 years.

i am in the same boat~~~and i back up all my writings on MSN space. It has been 1 hour already… i am crossing my finger (tears*….)

The current timing of some of the “welcome” type emails in the migration process can be a little awkward.

Give the importer 24 hours of time from the point that you finished the migration steps. If your content still hasn’t moved across, let us know via the support link above.

We won’t let you lose your content. No worries. :)

My content still isn’t there.? :( I migrated yesterday and was hoping it would be here today but it still isn’t here.. :(

NO ONE will lose anything. Microsoft is not deleting anything. Your stuff is safe. It’s just that the queue is backed up right now. Staff I’m sure is working on cutting the queue time down and they have ways to fix things if the original import does not work.

Again no one will lose anything.
