    Please contact us in Support and we will be happy to let you know when your blog can be re-imported.

    @nitaones
    Please take a moment to consider the enormous impact of this influx of Live Spaces bloggers on the Volunteers answering support questions on this forum and on WordPress.com Staff. Unsurprtingly, there is a backlog in Staff support tickets. Staff will get to your ticket and reply to you just as soon as the can. In the meanwhile note that your data is safe and please, please, please be patient.

    @markel
    actually I contacted support 3 times, but no any news yet.

  • Unknown's avatar

    Did you check your spam filter / trap? there have been legions of people that come to the Forum and rip a new one for the Staff and when the Staff does the research they show that 3 or 4 times they had emailed the person with the problem requesting more information or sending a solution but they never heard back from the person with the problem.

    I have contacted the staff a few times and they always got back to me with the proper information.

    @mike99362

    I just got email from the staff..but i got stuck at the [ Log back into your Spaces account]…I cannot log back..

  • Unknown's avatar

    Contact staff again then and let them know. http://support.wordpress.com/contact and let them know the Ticket number of the email you got from them so they can follow up.

  • Unknown's avatar

    All the blogs were missing after migration,
    just like all my golden memories lost.
    How sad I feel! Now I am waiting for the reply.
    I wish a miracle would occur and
    my old blogs would come back home.
    Please give me a help, Happiness Engineers of Wordepress.com!

    NO ANSWER ANYMORE…

  • Unknown's avatar

    This is why it says to download your blog before migration.

  • Unknown's avatar

    I have no choice now

  • Unknown's avatar

    I mígrate with the confidence that my blog structure was going to be respected.
    I found now my work of so many years completely destroyed.
    Ere are my photos, my links etc. etc.
    Were is everything
    The page is realy awfull
    How can I go back to what I had.
    Really it’s a shame what you have done

  • Unknown's avatar

    @jorgeantoniohilbert – you have only two choices – migrate to WordPress.COM or throw your blog away.

    Microsoft threw you overboard and never gave you a way to export your work. You can now export your blog from here and go wherever you want.

    Your beef is with Microsoft not WordPress.COM – WP stepped up to welcome you here when M/S wanted to just throw your blog off it’s servers.

    Read the Support Documents on getting started, they are quite good. There are a lot of unpaid volunteers here that will help you if you try a bit yourself and have specific questions not just the general “things are really screwed up you are all bad here” as many have did.

    @mint19870509 Your content is safe. Thank you for your patience — we are investigating the problem and will contact you via email as soon as we know more.

    @jorgeantoniohilbert @auxclass
    Again, I say: This is why it says to download your blog before migration.
    Next time, if you’re dealing with something critical like this, be sure to read the entire page. They DO give you an option of exporting your Spaces blog as a zip file so you can upload your posts, photos, etc to another blog provider.

    And the reason why Microsoft is shutting down Spaces is because they only have so many people who can do only so many things, and Spaces wasn’t uses as much as other Windows Live services, like Messenger. And be happy they gave you an option to backup and/or migrate instead of just deleting everything.

    There have been so many services that have shut down and basically told people that the were out of luck. At least MS provided a migration path to another platform. For some the migration has gone smoothly with no hitches and for some it has not. Why this is, I haven’t a clue. It could be issues with stuff in the data being transferred (errors and such) or it could be that there are issues on the MS end, or on the wordpress end (or both) that are causing migration problems for some.

    Rest assured though that the likelihood of you actually losing stuff is virtually zero (0). MS is holding onto your stuff for at least 6 months, and wordpress has access to that data. They will get your stuff over here for you, so just be a little patient. This is not a small job to migrate so many blogs in such a short period of time.

    @jorgeantoniohilbert
    You have asked about your images please read all of this answer below as it contains an answer for you.

    You have also asked about your links. You can locate the indexed blog entries form your wirnsows live spaces blog in Google’s cache and then retrive the links and edit them in, if needs be.

    Please see this post at the top of the forum https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/did-you-just-move-here-from-live-spaces-welcome?replies=1

    If you are you experiencing trouble using WordPress.com please take a look at our support page dedicated to the upgrade process here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/upgrading-from-windows-live-spaces/

    Please note that the following items do *NOT* come over in the import process:

    Photos that were in albums but not within posts
    Photos that weren’t used in posts are not part of the import process because they aren’t actually part of the Windows Live Spaces blog. They are part of the Photos or Skydrive service. The photo albums from Skydrive are always accessible and aren’t going anywhere. Anyone can find them at http://photos.live.com/.

    Modules

    Lists
    Please see here > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/live-spaces-retrieving-your-lists?replies=1

    Pending/draft posts
    Right now, the draft posts are trapped in limbo and WordPress.com Staff are communicating with Live Spaces about them.

    The migration to WordPress.com is permanent. If you have any trouble with it contact Staff directly using this link and please be patient while waiting as there is a backlog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/
