I lost connection and cant regain to linkedin?

    I already was connected to Linkedin via Jetpack Publicize, but somehow lost the connection. When I try to reconnect I keep receiving the following error: There was a problem creating your connection. Please go back and try again. I also receive another error at times. I have tried disconnecting, logging out of linkedin after deleted wordpress from authorized apps, cleared my browser cookies and cache, sign back into wordpress, then try to readd linkedin to which it never works. I have no idea what is going on as it was working fine. Please help

    You are posting to the wrong support forum. Sorry but we cannot help here. That is not a free hosted WordPress.COM blog. We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and you are posting to the wrong support forum. WordPress.com and WordPress.org have different log-ins and run different versions of themes with same names. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

    I am having the same problem – my blog is on the free wordpress.com platform. It’s http://reallyinterestingpeople.wordpress.com/ – I did have the LInked in connection, but now it’s gone and I can’t reconnect – it gives the same error message:

    There was a problem creating your connection. Please go back and try again.

    I’ve deleted the connection – but when I try to re do it, I get the same error.

    What now?

    A 6 day old issue and still not resolved? I’m having the same issue. Worked fine up until recently and then it dropped the connection. I tried to completely disconnect and reconnect. It removed the old connection, but now won’t allow a new connection at all.

    I have had these problems including breaking the link and not getting it back and then the following day, found I could re-connect.

    Now I am finding on all posts I am being asked to refresh the connection and when I do, it fails. What is strange is that when I first publish a post it does not show up in LinkedIn even though the tick is grayed out. A republish and lo and behold it goes into LinkedIn.

    What is strange is that the warning is still there on the posting asking me to refresh despite the posting having been made into LinkedIn????
