I lost my blog! www.blog.derekmacdougall.com

A while ago I signed up with wordpress. I had a domain name (www.derekmacdougall.com) and I created a sub-domain of blog.derekmacdougall.com. This is through 1and1. The sub-domain was a blog through wordpress.org. Everything was fine until I handed over the main domain to livebooks.com for a portfolio… they changed the DNS for me.. but I did not know that this change would automatically change the sub-domain as well. So my new http://www.derekmacdougall.com is nice and fine.. but my blog.derekmacdougall is not found either through typing it in the adress bar of clicking on it through Google search. I reset the DNS and nothing. I tried the wordpress DNS and nothing. 1and1 has not been helpful.. it almost seems as if they are not educated in what they are dealing with. I need help getting this back… it must be there!
It is starting to sound like I have to start all over..
