I lost my draft

I wrote my first blog post and saved it in my drafts but when i went back to post it, it was not there, do i have to just write the whole thing over?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

In your Dashboard view, on the upper right corner, under the “[name]” is a tab labeled “Screen Options” . Click it. Here is a list o f the screens where the modules can be hidden:Posts – Post Tags, Categories, Excerpt, Send Trackbacks, Discussion, Comments, Post Slug, Post Author, Post Revisions
Page – Page Attributes, Recommendations, Featured Image, Discussion, Comments, Slug, Author, Revisions
Select those and return to your Dashboard.Make sure you select Select Post Revisions and Page Revisions those and return to your Dashboard. Then close the tab. On the left toolbar, click on either “Pages” or “Posts” depending on what type of document are you are trying to restore.

In the future you may want to use an offline blog editor as they provide a backup copy on your own computer of every posts or page your create in them and publish from them to your blog.

I have done all of these things and ‘post revisions’ is not on my screen options for ‘posts’. It’s rather frustrating!
