I lost my Jetpack stats….

I lost my Jetpack stats for thecoloradocookiecompany.com I had created a clone site for development, and somehow in the process I lost all of my historical stats. Can you help get it back? Thanks.

With Jetpack, your stats and subscriber information is connected to a unique blog ID. Sometimes, if a site owner was using a development site or a different address when they set up Jetpack, disconnecting may create a new blog ID. When this happens, it may appear that your stats and subscribers were lost.
That’s what happened on your site; it previously used a different site URL,
new.thecoloradocookiecompany.comI have fixed the issue and you should be able to get your stats and subscribers back by reconnecting to WordPress.com from the Jetpack section of your site’s Dashboard.

Thanks. I can see historical stats now, but unfortunately there are a couple of months missing, June and July.

Was the site every used under a staging or temporary domain besides

clonethere? I see … and we’d need the full URL to search for its records. -

Looks like there is still no data for June, and almost nothing for July. Can you see the data in the URLs I provided?

OK. I see what I did wrong and have fixed it. I’ve confirmed I can see the stats on your end this time, too. Whew! :)

Hi,
Sorry this happened again, and i am hoping to get it fixed as well as to see if you can help me avoid it in the future. I happens every time I create a clone of my site for staging. I am creating the clone from my c-panel, all I am doing is creating a copy under a new URL… the most recent is https://thecoloradocookiecompany.com/clone/0813
Is there a way I can stop this from happening? I think the stats are getting moved to the clone UL?
