I lost my list of subscribers/users when changing hosts.

I recently redirected the nameservers from wordpress.com to ipage (I think) and imported/uploaded my old content so that my site is now self-hosted by me via wordpress.org w/ ipage as host. However in the move I seem to have lost all my users/subscribers, only 9 new ones show up on my dashboard (mostly all spammers), and I don’t know what happened or how to retrieve the old ones. I’m still not entirely clear if I have correctly moved the site or not, but think that I have, but fear I’ve lost my old users/subscribers. When I tried to pay for the site redirect, and it asks you to put in the new URL, I’m confused b.c. my URL hasn’t changed, only the host, so if I put in the same URL, nothing happens (note that I’d earlier already paid WordPress.com to change the domain from couchsurfingcook.wordpress.com to couchsurfingcook.com).

Appreciate any help I can get with this!

You can always export a list of your WordPress.com email subscribers via your Site Stats page and clicking on Site Followers -> Email Followers -> Download all as CSV.

However, I’d recommend asking in the WordPress.org forums to see what other plugins people have used on self-hosted sites:
