How do I recover lost text on a post?

  somehow I lost 300 words or so of my text that I have been working on very hard. Is there a way to get it back?

  You can recover the text in your Post Revisions if the text was saved. Your Post Revisions are located at the bottom of the Post Editor (page where you draft your post).
