In 2010 I created a wordpress blog. Recently I created a second new wordpress blog and choosed a different theme than my first blog for it. Curiously, by editing this theme on this new blog, it has been editing also on the first one… So I lost the theme of my first blog and I am enable to find it again. Is there an historic or a way to recuparate this theme? Or a way to cancel this change I didn’t want? Thanks by advance for your help

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What you are describing is extremely odd. Changing themes on one blog does not affect any other blog. In order to locate the name of the theme you previously used you can use Google search and look for a cached copy of the site in question. Her’s the format:
    site:NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com

  • Hi peciomortella, I looked at the history of your peciomortella.wordpress.com blog, and it looks like you’ve used the following themes: Freshy, Steira, Modularity Lite, Andrea (your current theme for this blog), Structure, Greyzed, Fjords04, and Ocean Mist.

What in particular were you editing on your theme? Also, what are the specific unwanted changes?

thanks for your messages timethief and michiecat. Yes I was very surprised when it happened. But looking back what I did, I understood it has been my mistake… Anyway, I finally found my original theme: Andrea (it had been substituted by MystiLook, creating a new blog). Everthing is on order, now, I just lost a lot of time with this! Michiecat, If you could tell me how it is possible to access to one’s blog history, I would be grateful tou you.
    Thanks again for your help!

  • Hi peciomortella,

Glad you were able to find the theme. As for accessing a blog’s history, it can only be done by staff. I was not clear about that in my previous post. I’m glad things are in order now. If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to let us know!
