I lost my username and password!

    I only created my new blog two days ago. Purchased a WP platform from Godaddy. Found myself writing down many usernames and passwords for cpanel, go daddy, and wordpress. Now I am totally baffled and can’t remember my username or password to work on my site. Very frustrating. Not looking for sympathy, but I am 70 years old and my mind is not as nimble as it once was. Please help!

    I’m unclear though where you plan to host your blog. Are you using GoDaddy as your hosting platform, or WordPress.com? Keep in mind that even if you are using WordPress software on your GoDaddy site, that is separate from WordPress.com, which, like GoDaddy, is also a hosting provider, but we provide only WordPress sites.

    Since you were able to post here, it sounds like you have access to your WordPress.com account, so my guess is that you’re trying to access your site on GoDaddy.com. If that’s the case, you’ll need to contact them for support rather than us at WordPress.com, as we have no access to your site there or your account.
