What I tried to do was bring my existing account with wordpress at chamelawari.com with this one.. I did not wish to make a new blog ( chamelawaricom.wordpress.com ). I wanted to blog from here and it appears on my chamelawari.com site. That would be what I thought I was ordering.. Please let me know if it can be done, so I can remove the disputed charge. Thank you in advance.

When you domain map that is done from an underlying .wordpress.COM site URL to the domain URL. The underlying .wordpress.COM URL is required in order to domain map.Are you clear on that w?

There is no way to map to a custom domain from any wordpress.COM blog without paying for an annual upgrade to map an existing domain. Upgrades apply to sites; they do not apply to accounts. You need to register a wordpress.COM site first and then purchase the upgrade.

WordPress.com does not accept domain transfers but mapping an existing domain is possible. If you have registered a .wordpress.com blog you log in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the WordPress.COM blog, and as you own a domain URL already, you can see here for mapping an existing domain. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/Domain mapping of an existing domain URL that you already own and purchased elsewhere is not done free of charge. You will have to renew the domain name purchase where you made, it and the domain mapping purchase here, each and every year.
Mapping an existing domain costs $13. annually and a domain name purchase and domain mapping are included in the Premium upgrade bundle.
In order to map to a domain one must have an underlying .wordpress.com sub-domain blog to map from and it does not matter what that underlying .wordpress.com URL is. It does not have to match the domain URL. If you do not register a .wordpress.com blog URL first then the software supplies the dot whatever URL so you can proceed with your domain mapping purchase.

I want to make sure I understand your error. You were wanting to export your old site over to WordPress.com and use the custom domain chamelawari.com? At @Timethief mentioned, you’ll need to have a wordpress.com address for your blog, but you can mask it with your custom domain.
