I may have experienced a bug that ruined the look of a page I run

    I help run this site Megaman Legends 3 support hub for a very well known gaming movement. 100,000 Strong For Bringing Back Mega Man Legends 3. For the years this site has been running, everything was set the way I wanted it to look. With it being a nice, cohesive static page, with everything I wrote and added to our first post titled “Help out Our Cause” overlayed on it’s featured image. It was beautiful. But just a few days ago, on our 5th anniversary, suddenly everything’s been compressed and in order to see the whole post or use it, people have to click on the “Read More” button. Which totally screws up the look of the whole thing. I’ve made two other threads on the regular support forums with no luck. If this is a glitch, can someone fix it If not, what can I do to make it look whole?

    Hi there!

    I searched the Web Archive to find a snapshot of your site from September, 2015:

    From the above, I can confirm that there was a “read more” button at the very bottom of all of your post’s content, not just an excerpt of it.

    I will need to investigate the cause of the sudden change but, as a workaround for now, you could copy/paste your post’s content in its entirety to the custom excerpt field (this field can be found to the left of your post’s editor.) We have extra information on how to create custom excerpts here:

    Excerpts

    All of the content you add to your post’s custom excerpt will display on your site’s front page.

    Let me know how you get on with those steps.

    Good thing you helped too. We have a very important mission going on in the “active campaigns” section called “Operation Network Of Legends” where everybody gets to show Capcom that they bought the PSN ports of the megaman legends series in hopes they’ll revive the cancelled Megaman Legends 3 project.
